Timer on dryer would not work & knob got stripped from using pliers to turn it
We followed the video instructions from the site, and it worked like a charm ! We unplugged the dryer, and removed the back panel, then replaced the timer by securing all the wires, replaced the timer and knob, turned it on and it worked !!

How can i disable the buzzer, or make it softer ?
For model number GTD33EASK0WW
Hello James, Thank you for the question. To disable you will just need to disconnect the wires but unfortunately it can not be made softer. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Which terminal is red? Thank you.
For model number Dryer GTDX300EM1WS / Buzzer WE4M318
Hello Ken, Thank you for your inquiry. If you are looking at the switch with the silver tab where the screw goes in on the right side, the terminal on the back would be the one where the red wire would go into. Hope this helps!

Can the buzzer switch make it so the dryer will not start
For model number GTDP200GM0WW
Hello Scott, Thank you for your inquiry. The buzzer switch simply buzzes at the end of cycle to indicate it is about to end. If your dryer is not starting, I would check the rotary start switch, the interlock and door switches, the thermostats and the timer with a multimeter to make sure they have continuity. If you are not familiar with how a multimeter works, there are helpful videos available on YouTube to assist you. Hope this helps!

The dryer works fine but it turns on as soon as I turn the dial and it shuts off when opening the door. It turns back on when I shut the door. I thought it was the starter switch and took it in for replacement but was told the switch is o.k. Switch # WE4M519. Could it be something else or was the switch tested incorrectly?
For model number DBXR463GD2CC
Hello Dominic thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Door Switch and the Interlock Switch for continuity. If they are good, you may have a faulty Timer Switch. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
