The rack wheels and axles on the dw had broken, causing the upper rack to come flying out when opened.
Took the rack out. Took off the broken wheels and axles. Popped the new ones on, while replacing the rack. Piece of cake! Saved over $100.

Poor shelf extraction/retraction action!
Simple enough to remove the existing dishwasher shelves . . . then tweak off the old axles and rollers and replace them with the new ones. Trying this yourself? Don't be dismayed at first if the parts you just bought aren't exactly the same configuration as the ones you pulled off! The new configuration axles secure just fine with a little thought and pressure in the right places. Last word: The parts were received in just two DAYS after the order. Now the dishwasher shelves are gliding like the day we installed it!

Worn/broken plastic parts were causing misery
Order arrived two days after being placed. Super easy to remove the old, worn, broken plastic parts and replace with new. Everything popped right on just as shown in the diagram. Our happiness with our dishwasher has increased 100%. BTW, thanks to the very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff at PartSelect.com -- next job, replace the ice maker in the freezer!

Internal plastic mechanical parts broke
Dishwasher rollers and other mechanical parts of plastic and rubber dry out and fail. A service call to an apppiiance repair person would have cost more than all the parts to repair the problem. Ordered them online on Sunday night, received them the following Wednesday, probably as fast as I could have had an appointment for a repairman. Changed out the parts in ten minutes and pocketed the change. $30 out of pocket instead of about $100, thanks to partselect.com.

The upper rack would fall off when pulled out
I installed new rollers and rack clips. The old ones had cracked and would not keep the rack in the tracks. I went to buy a new dishwasher which would have cost around $500. I bought $60 worth of parts although I probably could have just bought the clips for $15 and now the dishwasher is good to go! A real money saver.

The roller slides were old so the top tray kept on slding out of the roller. Calling someone to get it fixed would have cost me approx. $125 between labor and parts thanks to partselect.Com!
First I removed the rail end caps on both sides of the rack with a screw driver. I removed the old roller slides and stud rollers. Then I easily snapped the roller slide in the roller stud and put it back on the slide. Placed the rail end caps. Done! All in 5 minutes.
