Rack does not roll correct, falls into tub
Removed old wheels and axles, installed new axles in wheels, clipped into place. I purchased new wheels and axles. Probably only needed the axles. The front wheels are narrower than the rear wheels. This probably contributes to them falling off the track. Since I purchased 8 new wheels (all wide, now I know what the second part number was for)I put all wide on. Seems to be more stable that way. New straight style axle clip appears more robust than the old side clip style. Thanks Parts select

Missing wheel and damaged wheel
We had a missing wheel (probably melted in the dishwasher) and a broken wheel for about 6 months. Everyone in the house argued about who had to load/unload the dishwasher because the bottom rack would not move properly and was a hassle. I ordered 8 replacement wheels and axles and they arrived super fast. I was able to fix the problem in less than 10 minutes. I love my dishwasher again!! Yay!!

Dishwasher wasn't cleaning dishes
By reading these posts realized it was the lack of working wheels on my bottom basket that was keeping the machine from cleaning properly. If your basket isn't sitting at the appropriate height dishes will not get clean. After putting on all new wheels and and wheel axels or studs my washing machine works great ! Saved me hundreds of dollars I was ready to buy a new machine. Oh and using Cascade also helped don't use anything else nothing comes close spend the money for Cascade its worth it !! Thanks ladies for your posts !! Vickie from TN

Replaced lower rack axles (8) and wheels (8).
Old wheels and axles pulled off very easily. Axle popped into wheels then wheels placed on basket shaft and axles locked on to basket with a gentle push. Done in 5 minutes. Ordering from PartSelect couldn't have gone smoother. I ordered the parts Saturday afternoon 10/15/2011. I immediatly recieved an Email confirmation the parts were in stock and would be shipped on Monday. On Monday I recieved an Email confirming the parts were shipped. The parts arrived Tuesday at 2:45pm. The repair was completed by 2:55pm. Thank you PartSelect!

Broken axle/wheels on lower basket
It took longer to unpack teh parts than it did to repair. Simply snaped the wheels onto the axels and then snaped the assembled units axle supports on the lower basket. Reinstalled the lower basket in the dishwasher tub and all is great.

The original design of the axle made it susceptible to coming off
Removed old wheel and axle. New wheel pops on to axle, then put hole in wheel on wheel stud and align clip to attach to vertical support behind wheel stud. Push wheel on and clip attaches. Easy!

Wheels would not stay on
poor engineering design of lower basket wheel attachment. With time the c-clips designed to attach wheels to basket axles lost their 'torque-grip' strength allowing the wheels to fall off into the bottom of the dishwasher and melt against the drying element. The replacement clips for the wheels have a very different design and attach to the basket axles in a manner that makes it almost impossible to come off without forcing/breaking them off. I don't know what the name of the new design is, but my hat's off to the engineer(s) who developed it. Amazing how something so simple can make life so much easier. WBB

The lower rack, front wheels kept falling off and getting melted on the element
We ordered 4 wheels and axels, took off the old wheels, assembled the new wheels by popping the axel into the wheel (really simple) and then snapping them onto the post. It was incredibly simple. We waited 3 days for the wheels to arrive, the mailing cost was more than the parts! The result is amazing, the lower rack now runs smoothly and sits inside the washer as it should do without falling down all the time. Well worth the small amount of effort to find the right part and much cheaper than buying a new one!

New wheels for lower rack on dishwasher.
Ordered on a Friday and parts arrived Sat. No tools required. Pieces easily slipped into place. Dishwasher is all fixed. This site is much easier to use than GE's. Will use PartSelect for all future replacement parts.
