Will this part cause my bottom burner to go on and off, we had a power failure, i change the igniter, and it still lights the burn for a while, then stops for about 10 r 15 seconds then light again,, it continues to do that, as long as the stove is on,, do you know what causes it to do that,, thanks for any help you can give me.
For model number JGBP30DEA4AD
Hi Howard,
Thank you for your question. It definitely could. I would suggest just testing bottom burner first. Just to make sure that it is not the part causing you problems. I hope this helps. Good luck with your repair.

While cooking some pizza, the oven light started blinking and the oven burner stopped. I turned the oven off, then back on. It started working, maybe it reset? I expect it to happen again. Question is, could the control board be the cause?
For model number JGBP30DEA4WH
Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your inquiry. If the oven is shutting off too soon, you will need to check the oven sensor and the round style oven igniter. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I used the oven yesterday. When i went into the kitchen later, i noticed the clock had stopped. I was not able to reset it using the touchpad. I then noticed the oven would not come on. The surface burners work and the oven light comes on. Most videos say it is the igniter. Will this cause the clock to stop working? Or is it the clock timer control board that is the problem?
For model number JGBP26WEA2WW
Hi Esther,
Thank you for your question. Your igniter should not effect your control board like that. You can test the igniter to make sure it is working. You should be able to test it with a multi meter. However it is likely you may have to replace your control board. I could suggest unplugging your appliance for about 5 minutes. When you plug it back in, if your control board still will not come on, then you will have to replace it. Good luck with your repair.

Oven on light blinking red, but the oven is not on. In using the oven a few days ago the oven was turned off, but later it started turning on by itself then turning on and turning off. Could the electronic clock control be defective?
For model number EGR2000EC0WW
Hi JoAnn,
Thank you for your question. If the oven was turning on and off by itself, then the issue may be the electronic control board and you will need to test it with a multimeter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. If the electronic control board turns out to be fine, then you will need to check the oven sensor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
