Replaced old microwave but needed optional kit part.....
I never even knew I needed the charcoal filter for my old microwave, but it was a simple install, just three screws.
The reason I am replying to this is to let people know about the microwave installation itself.
I previously had a hotpoint, 6 years old that I ruined trying to replace a lightbulb, long story for another time. I wanted to be able to turn off the turntable, so I upgraded to a GE spacesaver. It took a entire weekend to install the hotpoint, if you count the time for arguments and head scratching before drilling into my brand new natural cherry cabinets.
We chose to go with GE as it was the same manufacturer.
WE USED THE SAME WALL MOUNT AND SCREW HOLES!!!! JUST TOOK 15 MINUTES. TOOK LONGER TO GET THE MICROWAVE OUT OF THE BOX!

Are part numbers WBO2X11536 and WBO2X11124 the same dimensions?
