If my control board is only supplying 11.6v to my evap fan, is my control board bad? My freezer is fine but my fridge is not cooling enough. I have checked the damper door and the evap coils and they appear fine.
Hi Tim, have you check the evaporator motor part 241509402. I doubt it is the control board. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

I have replaced the evp fan twice and the fridge is not cooling, freezer is still holding at 24 degrees, im now thinking it's possibly the control board. My code im getting is so thats a fan issue but its not changing anything

Hello and thank you for writing.
Since SY EF indicates an evaporator fan circuit failure and you've already replaced the evaporator fan motor, check the wiring between evaporator fan and control board. Check for 12VDC to fan between red and brown wires. Check for variant voltage (depending on high or low speed) between yellow and brown. Test the sensor. If that all checks ok then it is possibly a faulty control board. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Suddenly no power, no lights. Have power at the outlet, cord tests ok. I've pulled the control board which visually looks ok but I think it must be the problem. Have done a manual reset, no change. Buttons on front all inactive.

Hi Gerry, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description you have provided, the issue is most probably with the main control board, part number PS9495117. It manages the functions of the refrigerator such as cooling and defrost times. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
