moisture build up on gaskets and doors
After watching a couple of YouTube videos I had an idea of what to expect. It is really easy. Simply pull out the old, clean up the track and press in the new. I used a heat gun to eliminate the wrinkles in the material. A hair dryer would work as well.
first pressed in two bottom corners then used fingers to press in bottom section, pressed in two top corners then pressed in both sides using fingers followed by pressing in top section using fingers.VERY EASY !

Does the gasket and seal comes in a complete set for this model?
For model number GX5FHDXVY00
Hi Tayla, thank you for your question. Unfortunately no, all of the gaskets for this model are sold separately. I have linked the information for the refrigerator door gasket. If you need to replace both sides you would have to get two of that gasket. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
THE BOTTOM OF MY FREEZER TURNS TO A THICK SHEET OF ICE.
THEN THE DOOR IS NOT SHUTTING PROPERLY. WOULD A NEW GASKET BE THE ANSWER?
For model number GX5FHDXVQ03
Hello Rebecca, thank you for writing. A replacement gasket could be the reason for the ice build up. The Gasket is PS8688875. The other part that is most common is the P-Trap Drain Tube Kit PS8691807. We have a video for you to access. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
