A/c runs great but compressor will not go off no matter what setting you choose it still runs when unit is turn off must unplug power cord fan goes off on temp selection but compressor still runs

Hi John, Thank you for your inquiry. If your air conditioner is not shutting off you will need to check the condenser coils and the thermostat. If the condenser coils are dirty this may cause the compressor to keep running and you may need to clean them. To verify if the thermostat is causing the issue you will need to check it with a multimeter. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
