I have a freezer leaking water onto floor how can I fix this and what part do I need. Freezer is cold, can you help me.

Freezer had been off for 2 months. Plugged it in for cool down 24 hours before putting in processed whole hog that was prefrozen. Have not heard compressor cycle off since plug in. Can move controller range knob through full range and will only shut off when turned to off setting. Is this normal or is it possible control thermostat not working? Thanks.

Hello Larry, Thank you for the question. If the appliance does not stop running, we suggest testing the Run Capacitor. If the multimeter is set to ohms, check for a reading lower than 120 ohms to determine that the capacitor is functioning. We hope this helps!
