Upper wash arm fell off.

I dropped the upper rack to it lowest level. I then pulled the water hose down and put the arm in place then attached with the included plastic buttons. The hardest part was getting my hands in place to do the job.

Disintegrating silverware basket

The original silverware basket was falling apart. Literally disintegrating.
I ordered a new one, from PartSelect. I received it in 2 days.
Not tools needed. I simply removed the defective basket and replaced it with the new one.

Bottom seam of original basket tore out

ordered new basket; attempted to clip the new basket in place of the old, but the new basket is about 1/2' higher than the old, so that it doesn't hang on the edge of the upper dish rack properly, without interfering with the utensil rack above.

The flexible siverware "basket" had worn out - mesh seperated from plastic attching bracket

REALLY simple repair - no tools, just removed new part from shipping box, attached to dishwasher and threw old part awary. Fantastic!

Old silverware basket died of old age

I saved the silverware basket from my old KitchenAid dishwasher to use in my new KitchenAid dishwasher. It finally died of old age.
