Washer door would fall completely open, very hard fall.

Removed the two bracket screws attaching the washer to the countertop, and removed the kick panel beneath the door. Pulled the washer out enough to access the spring arms. Replaced the broken spring arms, and pushed the washer back into it's space, re-attaching the kick plate, and securing the lock tabs on top of the washer. Used one phillips screwdriver, a #2 tip. That simple.

The door spring broke

there were two screws securing the dishwasher to the counter top, I took those out and pulled the dishwasher out about 12 inches the spring and plastic linkage was visible, I just unhooked the one that wasn't broke and installed the new linkage and spring the same way it came off the one that was broke was even easier i just looked at the one that wasn't broke and put the linkage and spring on the same way, I pushed the dishwasher back under the counter top and put the screws back in took about 10 to 15 mins I am an ex-mechanic so I am pretty fast anyway.

Door spring replacement

It was very simple once I figured out where the end of the spring should go. Fortunately the entire side of the dishwasher was visible from under the sink cabinet. Otherwise, the dishwasher would have to be removed from under the counter top. One end of the spring attaches to the door bracket. Unfortunately, the other end attaches near the floor and the anchor point is impossible to see. I had to go by feel. I am well past my prime and I don't bend very easily - and getting down on the floor is agony (worse getting up). It took a long time on the floor to find the anchor point - the diagram that I got from Frigidaire support wasn't all that helpful. All in all, fairly simple but extremely frustrating.

Door spring broke

Easy to replace if you realize that the plastic connector also broke. I fastened the spring with a short machine screw, 2 washers & a nut
