This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
I was able to simply lift the broken turntable coupler from the bottom of the microwave. The smaller broken piece fell inside the body of the microwave. I tried unsuccessfully to retrieve it. When the new part arrived, I simply snapped it in place. Everything works good as new!

turntable coupler was an easy switch from inside the cooking area(pull out and push in the new part). The light sockets were accessed by removing five screws under the microwave, lowering the panel and replacing the light sockets(one screw in each and two electrical plugins)simple....
Turntable coupler broke due to plastic wrap getting tangled, top part came out easy, other piece that broke did not come out so easy. Placed used stocking over shop vac end and vacuumed out broken piece, replaced with new coupler. Done.
Ordered and replaced turntable coupler. Still didn't work.Ordered turntable motor. Left bottom of microwave open for motor to arrive since the parts are shipped so quickly. Sure nuff parts arrived 3 days later, replaced and walla walla fixed in 10 minutes. Simple, simple.
1. Turned off circuit breaker for microwave.2. Removed screws holding the bottom cover of the microwave; cover is hinged at the back, so it dropped open and stayed out of the way.3. Unplugged turntable motor and removed screws that hold turntable motor in place.4. Pushed broken pieces of the plastic turntable coupler out of the way (hole for motor's axle not big enough to remove them).5. Put turntable coupler into hole in bottom of microwave interior, held it in place while putting the motor axle into it from below.6. Replaced screws holding turntable motor in place, plugged in motor's electrical connector.7. Closed bottom cover and replaced screws that hold it in place.8. Switched on microwave circuit breaker.
I removed the broken turntable coupling and popped on the new one. Simple as that. It was a 2-minute job.
Removed broken coupler hub and pushed new hub on shaft. Make sure to align the new hub correctly when pushing on to shaft. Repair took less than 1 minute.
Piece did not fit as well as old piece needed to take off a small piece to make it fit. Once it was in the turntable worked again
lowered bottom panel, unpluged turntable motor, unscrewed one screw. replaced old motor with new alinged turntable button. repluged motor wire and finished.
Removed the screws in bottom of unit. Dropped down bottom and removed turntable motor mounting screw. Removed motor and replaced broken Coupler TT Hub from inside unit. Reversed procedure and rectified problem.
First I removed the 5 screws holding the vents and lights on the range hood. Dropped down the panel to the range top. Removed power connector on drive motor and checked for voltage when microwave was running. I had the required 21 vac for the motor to run. Tried to remove motor the hard way and found a screw on the back side after trying to remove the tray hub and broke it because there is tab on it. With the screew holding the removed the motor came right out and the hub did not need to removed. The new parts slipped right in. Thanks for your very quick service.
Removed 5 philip head screws from under panel. Under panel droped down exposing drive motor. Removed one drive motor screw, replaced with new motor at the same time lining up new coupler. Pressed together, reinstalled motor srew, attached wire coupling and tested. Worked fine. Reinstalled lower panel screws (5)and unit was ready to go. I ordered two of each units because I believe this to be weak link in the unit. It was only 2 years old, used little as I have another home. I recently installed a like unit (Hanging) and it was a breez. 4 srews properly placed, electrical cord hole properly drilled & ready to go in 45 minutes.
When I received the part, I popped it in and POW, problem solved. I praise PartSelect, they offered my part at a fantastic price compared to other vendors and shipping time was very good! will use them again when I have the need.
I took the glass table up and underneath was the turntable coupler. I reached in with my hands and gently pulled the old coupler out. Once out I lined up the new one and gently pushed it in the hole until it locked into place. The process took about 5 minutes to complete. Very easy to install.
Pulled off old coupler. It was tight so used a trim bar to remove. Checked motor shaft since there was 2 types available. One, square shaft, other D shaft. Ordered in AM and received the next day in PM by Fedex.. Can`t get much better than that! Pushed on and done......Like new again...
