Drying too slowly
Removed access plate from back bottom left Removed belt from motor Needed to lift up top of dryer Inserted flathead screwdirver in front under top to push in two metal clips holding top down Lifted up top of dryer Removed 2 screws holding on front of dryer Removed front of dryer Broke Door Switch removing front of dryer. I should have depressed the metal sides in and pulled switch through hole. Instead, I tried to remove the leads. This broke the fragile prongs. Started dryer (with belt removed so drum doesn't spin) Verified ignightor came on every heating cycle Gas turned on properly Gas turned off after 90 seconds Gas never came back on Indicitive of bad coils New coils solved the problem Replaced door switch and lint trap cover in the process.

Knowing how to open the top
I unpluged the machine. Pried out the old switch with the tip of a screw driver. Pried off the connectors, there was not enough extra wire for me to connect the new switch through the front of the machine. I pushed the new switch in place. Using the screw driver I carefully pried open the top front of the machine { there were 2 plastic spring clips securing the top}. I placed a wash bucket on the drum to hold the top open , connected the 2 connectors to the switch and snapped top back in place.

Dryer ran for about 5 minutes and then shut off completely, washer still worked (stackable unit)
simple fixes, knob broke required a good tug with rocking motion , put on new knob with a push. dryer switch required a screw dryer to pop out , 2 wires on back required a tug on each to remove from lug ( blade) and a push to place back on new switch, That was about it.s
