Drawer and rails broke due to under design of the components
This was the second time i replaced the drawer and the first time for the frame. The repair was simply removing the old frame from the refrig and removing the rollers from the frame with screw driver. The rollers are reused with the new frame. The frame was reinstalled in the refrig. The replacement of the drawer requires reusing the drawer front which is easily removable. The only complication with drawer repair was the need to trim some flashing that was not removed after the molding process at the factory to allow the drawer face to fit properly on the new drawer. this problem is a quality control issue with the manufacture of the storage drawer.

Plastic drawer supports and plastic drawers cracked with age and use.
First removed the drawers and replaced the old drawers with the new by removing the glass fronts from the old and inserting them on the new, then removed the cover storage pan and removed the rollers from the old with a screwdriver and installed them on the new cover storage pan. Next i removed the inner door panel on the refrigerator side, using a phillips screwdriver, then I installed the old door gasket on the new door panel and installed the new panel on the door.

Side of drawer broke/chippped - hard to open.
I didn't know the front of the drawer could come off so it was pretty gunked up with dried meat juices that had leaked. The fit was very tight. I had to really work the putty knife to get it between the front and the drawer at the bottom where the catch is. I was afraid I would break or chip the front before I got it off but it handled the pressure pretty well. Had to use some force though. Once I cleaned the front it slid right down and snapped into place.

Upper and lower crisper drawers were cracked on their slides
Got the new drawers, removed the drawer fronts from the old drawers, slid the fronts onto the new drawers and installed them. Why did we wait years to fix this simple problem?

Both runner edges of lower drawer were broken
I'm a widow and thought I'd need my son's help to fix this. I did not. I pulled out & emptied the broken lower drawer, tapped the plastic cover off against the countertop, washed the plastic cover, snapped it into the new drawer, filled it & put it into the fridge. 7 minutes, tops - most of that time spent emptying the old drawer. I can't believe I waited as long as I did to fix this drawer; it was ridiculously easy.

Part of the drawer was broken.
I received the drawer within 2 days of ordering it online, which was extraordinary. I removed the front of the old drawer, as instructed and placed it on the new drawer. I then replaced the drawer in the refrigerator and the job was complete. The entire experience from beginning to end was simple and completed in very little time. Had I known it would be this easy, I would have ordered the drawer sooner.

Broke a glass shelf
At approximately 1 a.m. last Monday, I tried to be the "good wife" and make some Crystal Light for my diabetic husband, who had gone to bed early as he was not feeling well. As I went to place the pitcher in the frig, I knocked over another pitcher of red juice and a bowl of fruit, also with red juice, spilling it all over the floor. Cleaned it up, but still noticed red juice under the trim of the glass crisper shelf. Decided to take the shelf out and wash it in the sink which required taking out the crisper drawer...which required moving all the stuff off that glass shelf too When I did so, I put 2 cans of tea on the counter and accidently hit a can with the shelf; knocked the can off and it hit just right to start spewing iced tea all over the floor in addition to the red juice I had just cleaned up! In my effort to compensate for hitting the can, I struck the shelf on the edge of the sink, shattering the glass into a bazillion pieces! It was made of safety glass, fortunately, but not wanting to take any chances, decided to wet mop the floor after sweeping up the glass and removing the thousands of pieces from the dual sinks. By the time I got all of this done, it was nearly 4 a.m.! I got online, found this website and was able to locate the proper parts with the help of the excellent staff available online and by phone. I ordered the shelf, along with 3 other pieces I thought I might need; the box came in 2 days! I fixed the refrigerator in less than 15 minutes, which included opening and disposing of the box and sent back two pieces of trim I discovered I did not need. I also got a replacement drawer for the bottom shelf which had been broken for a couple of years. The staff helped me with the returns, and not only have I returned them, I have already received notification and credit to my account! These folks are excellent! Thanks for helping this poor old woman in distress, and I hope the staff, and all of you reading this, have a very Merry CHRISTmas and a wonderful 2010! ?

I took my time to remove the front off of the old drawer,by gently prying it apart with two screwdrivers, this was the hardest part, the front installed very easily . The shippiong time was 2 days instead of three. Will use partselect again.
