first i took out burners then i took out the screws of the termnal block bracket. i then raised the lid on the stoveand clipped the wires on all 4 of the terminal block kits.i then slipped the shrink wrap on wires and used the wire nuts to connect wires together then heated the shrink wrap. I then put screws back in terminal block brackets. I then put the burners on while looking under lid so i would know they were making good connections as this is a bad design from factory. if you pull out burners to clean them and they are not put back in right you dont have a good connection and that causes the terminal blocks to get hot and melt. thats what happened in my case. As far as the drawer glides they just snap into place
Frst I slid the drawer out.I then pryed the broken drawer glides off with a flat blade screwdriver. The new drawer glides then just snap into place, then reinstall the drawer and check for smooth operation.
The old glides were broken off so I didn't know I needed these glides until I saw the parts section of the Manuel. When they arrived I snapped them in with no effort at all.P.S. The shipping is fantastic here......i ordered on Monday received them on Tuesday. Now that's shipping:>)
The two back door glides were missing and broken (one of each), and needed to be replaced. Finding the parts online was MUCH easier than I expected, and the repair was remarkably simple. Parts snapped into place, the drawer had to be lined up, and it slid right into place. Very easy!
I simply removed 6 screws holding the back cover removed 4 wires from the old clock removed the 4 screws holding the clock. set new clock in place put the 4 screws back in reattaced 4 wires replaced the cover.
New part arrived, opened pkg. , Pulled drawer out. . . Snapped in new parts. . . . Done!! Saved myself $100. 00.
Overlay replacement is easy; 1st remove two screws that hold panel to top of stove (philips screwdriver) and lift up off of lip at very top, 2nd remove two screws that hold control to panel (nutdriver or square drive screwdriver), 3rd peel old overlay from control panel face (make sure you get any & all little bits so new overlay sits flush), 4th peel backing from overlay and position over control panel (peel protective film from face of overlay as well), 5th reposition control panel and reinstall two screws removed in step two above, lastly reposition top panel on stove and reinstall the two screws removed in step one above.Drawer glide just snaps into place on the lower rear corners of drawer, then you slide drawer back into place.
Used a paint spatula to pop upwards the old bottom half of the door handle trim, has metal inserts inbetween pieces.Snapped new ones on.Was initially intimidated, but only took 5 minutes to replace both.
snapped the new piece of plastic in its place and ta da, its fixed.
The front glides easily snap into a hole on the sides of the range. The rear glides easily snap onto the sides of the lower rear of the drawer.
The simplest repair ever! I just snapped it in and put the drawer back - fixed. I hope I have other repairs this simple.
