I took out the drawer, then the whole shelf. I unscrewed the track that was broken and screwed in the new one. I then, put the shelf back in the fridge and put in the new drawer. All works awesome!!!Thanks PartSelect for getting me the parts I needed so fast!
Remove everything from shelf drawer is under. Remove everything in drawer. Remove the drawer itself. Remove the shelf the drawer slides underneath of by lifting front of shelf until legs unhook, then wiggle or gently pull until it releases from pieces legs hook into (each leg has one hook). Shelf should pull out with rails and legs attached. Remove screw with philips head screwdriver. I used a Stanley brand nut driver with philips and flathead bits included, $5 at Wal-Mart. Remove the screw holding the rail and leg together. Remove rail and replace with like part. Install screw. Hang shelf. Install drawer. Put all yer stuff back on shelf and in drawer. $50 cause step-son's kids like to pull out drawer and hang on it, go figure. Very simple fix. Do not lose screw! I put all my parts (drawer, shelf, rails, screw) on my kitchen counter. Mate your rail by aligning flat side of rail to inside flat surface of leg. Takes about five minutes. I would say good luck but you will not need it. Thank you PartsSelect for having such a user-friendly website!
We found you website, and I saw that you had the parts for my refrigerator. So I decided it was time to replace them.
pulled the draw out ,then unloaded shelf, removed shelf and unscrewed rails. I slid the rails of and put the new ones on screwed them back on and reassembled the drawer and shelf
It was just a matter of taking out 1 screw that held the old support, replacing the drawer support with the new piece and replacing the screw that held it on.
Removed the meat drawer from shelf. Removed shelf from fridge. There is one Phillips-head screw holding each support rail in place. Remove screw, and then each rail can be removed. Place each new rail in place, and then replace screw. Put shelf back in fridge and replace meat drawer. Total time -- about 5 minutes! The most difficult thing was ordering the parts. The right rail is called "Drawer Support Rail - right side". Fairly self-explainatory. The left rail is called "Track". Fairly confusing. Luckily, PartSelect.com has very good photos of the parts that they sell, and one can figure it out. It would have been much easier if both left and right rails were named similarly.
Removed the one screw holding the rail, positioned the new rail and put the screw back in.This was the best company I ever dealt with - the part arrived in less than 24 hours. Incredibly fast, and the order was right the first time.
Right broken rail was one screw. Both rail and deli drawer fit like a glove. Transferred groceries and was done.
Dropped it in!! A two minute fix. No problem.
Had to replace both sides tracks; the plastic is thin and gets alot of use. Had these done in minutes, one screw out on each side allows the tracks to be removed.Best part of the repair is the new clean shelves and drawers. How can you do this repair without cleaning everything? Nice quick service from PartSelect, and the right parts!
One screw to remove the old part, and screwed in the new one. Easy as pie. Keep the screw from the old part as the new one did not have one.
Hardest thing was to take all the the items and food off the shelf... Unscrew the old rails and screw on the new ones.... Put all that stuff back on the shelf.
