shelf just slipped into slots on door bin just had to be slid out & raised slightly to remove reversed procedure to install hardest part was transferring food to new components
The first thing I did was unplug the refrigerator for safety's sake. Then I made a mistake. I peeled off the module cover label. All I needed to do was pry the drip tray off to reveal the screw that holds the Module Cover in place. I used my fingernails to get under the botton edge of the tray then lifted it gently off. Then I unscrewed the Module Cover pulled it away from the freezer door and unplugged the electrical connection so I could set the Module Cover out of the way. I removed the broken piece of the original Acutator by unscrewing two tiny bolts from two tiny plates. That's where the tweezers came in. As soon as I took those little bolts out, the plates fell into a place where I could barely see them, let alone get into with my fingers. Once all the tiny pieces had been retrieved and put somewhere safe, I inserted the new Actuator up through the opening. The Actuator has an arm that sticks up and pushes against a spring to open the water flow. You'll want to make sure that arm is in front of the spring. The tricky task of screwing those two tiny plates back in took a while and a little swearing, since they now had pressure against them from the spring, but I was able to get it done with the help of a magnetized screwdriver. Then it was just a matter of plugging the electric cord back into the Module Cover and screwing the cover back into place, replacing the drip tray and sticking the label back on. The repair wasn't difficult it was just an extremely small space in which to work. The Drawer Support Rail and Refrigerator Door Shelf Bin popped in in about 30 seconds.
Simply popped the bin into place and my refrigerator was a good as new again. Note, you have to push kind of hard to get the shelf into the correct groove.
remove old shelves and put in new ones. Took about 2 minutes.
Biggest part of this repair is getting the correct part. You just slip it on. Your website was very good in the diagram that identified the part. Delivery was quck. Thanks
Slid new bin in & locked in place. Tool 5 seconds.
Two days after we replaced the shelf it broke while opening the door. We are working with Partselect to see if we can get it replaced.
Took old one out replaced with new one
Opened the box and snapped in the new one. Took all of 8.3 seconds.
received new shelf in two days; replaced on door; it was simple and the shipping response was fantastic
I removed the broken bin, ordered the part using the part number on the back side of the shelf and in less than a week, the bin was here.Needed some stretching to make the bin "slide" into place, but other than that...it took me all of 30 seconds to install it.HINT: make sure you order the correct part using the numbers on the pieces. I made that mistake the first time around with another refrigerator part. I think it was the meat compartment drawer.
Just snapped the new bin in.
I unsnapped the broken shelf and snapped in the new one.
First I removed hinge cover on top of refrigerator door with philips head screwdriver, then removed (2) 5/16 bolts to remove hinge bracket remove refrigerator door, remove broken bearing hinge at bottom of refrigerator door, install new hinge, install refrigerator door good as new. Took less then 5 minutes.
