Replaced the broken door shelf bars.

The old shelf rails in the frige and freezer were broken and would not stay in. I had to cut the new rail to length, glue the brackets on and pop the new ones in.

I got my parts the day after I ordered them.

Metal bar on door shelf would not stay attached

Metal bar was not currently attached anymore, pulled out plastic broken pieces on each side of door, used a gentle force to push in new part attached to metal bar. Done!! Shelf now holds many condiments and they don't fall out each time I open the door of the fridge.

The shelf end caps weakened with age and broke.

I removed the shelf, took off the old ends caps, replaced them with the new ones and put the shelf back in place. No glue or tools needed and the job was completed in under 2 minutes.

Fridge door retainer bar and end cap was broken

My husband did the repair, it was so easy, and of course because you made the broken parts available it saved us the money for a new refridgerator. It took him less than half an hour to get the job done. Thanks for making this easy for us.

Freezer door shelf retainer bar kept falling off

I removed the retainer bar from the freezer door and unclipped the broken end cap (the clips were broken). I snapped the new one into place and snapped the retainer bar back into the freezer door.

On july 22, 2007, bra'er bear broke into our mountain home near tahoe city, california and proceeded to get into the refrigerator and the freezer (at the top of the fridge) and dine on most of the contents of both sections. When the bear got into the freezer he/she worked over the food that was on

Repair was simple.....order the ends from Parts Select and upon arrival place them on the ends of the shelf. Hence, no tools....just fingers.
