The control panel would not respond to touch
A friend was kind enough to do the repair. It all went very easily... and the best part was that the replacement control panel was the cure. First thing was to turn off the circuit breaker to prevent any shocks. Then he just pulled the stove out.. removed the side screws... the screws under the control top... removed all 4 of the burner knobs and the nuts and washers holding them in place. The wires to the lights came off with a little wiggling... and went onto the new control top in the same order. Then everything went back into place... at which time we turned on the circuit breaker to find success. It was amazing to have it working again. Thank you for having these parts so that we were able to save a bundle of money on the repairs.
