ToolsPliers

CustomerAndrea from Greenwood AR

Shelf support studs broke off

To get the old parts off you use a pair of pliers. You have to turn it to the left to get the metal pieces to release inside. If not, you'll make a big hole and the new part will not fit as well.

To put the new parts in, you insert the stud in the hole and turn it to the right with the pliers until the flat part is horizontal. This will cause the metal pieces to stick out behind the wall of the refrigerator and hold the piece in place.

PS It is easy enough a woman can do it. This is coming from a woman whose husband is too lazy to do it.

ToolsNutdriver, Screw drivers

CustomerJames from Little Ferry NJ

Door was not closing correctly

Taking the door off was easy with a nut driver. The new parts were a little different than the original. The new part required a hole for the screw to secure the cam from turning, and my refrigerator did not have any holes, so I had to drill holes to adapt the new part. otherwise it would have been very easy. I didn;t install the shelf support stud yet, as I am trying to find out how to get the old broken one off.
