Poor water pressure - dishes come out dirty

I unscrewed two plastic covers to get to the chopper. I found out that the blade fell off and could not be put back in place. As a result the filter behind it was all clogged. I replaced the whole thing with the new one and put the plastic covers back in place. The dishwasher works like a charm. The hard part was that the screws have proprietary heads, so it is hard to screw/unscrew them with a regular screwdriver. Other than that the exercise is trivial.

No water reaching top tray

At first I thought that it was the feed tube but after some more thought I started diging and found the chopper broken cleaned the screen and got water to top tray so I ordered the chopper assembly and now it works fine

Primary problem door dropped open

I first replaced the door balance kit. I had to unhook the water supply to pull the unit out. I replaced the door balance kit first. The pieces were slightly different than my old parts, but fairly easy to figure out. Also, the spring was off on one side so had to confirm where to reconnect it. That took about 30 minutes. I then took out the racks and installed the chopper. The old one came out easily, but it took about 20 minutes to seat the new chopper properly and then reassemble the lower arm. This part of the repair was about another 30 minutes total. Lastly, I replaced the upper rack adjusters, which had broken a while ago and I had pulled together with nylon straps. The new adjusters have metal screws which should be more durable than the plastic clips used in the original equipment. This part of the job took about another 20 minutes, but was easy to complete. The dishwasher door works like new and the top rack is easier to load with the adjusters working properly again.

Dishes were comming out dirty.Low water pressure

Removed trays.Removed 4 arm spinnerspinner. Unsnapped water tube to back & top of washer. Turned water tube 1/4 turn to the right. Removed 4 #20 torx head screws. Lifted accumulater off. Removed 1 #15 torx head screw from chopper cover. Pulled on chopper blade to disengage from pump shaft and lifted chopper assembly out. I found that several objects had caused the chopper to bind and shear the shaft, which caused the screen to clog. Assembly is the reverse. Be careful not to drop screws into pump.
