I actually followed one of your previous buyers who had the same issue as I. Replacing the grille vent is easy. The door was just a little harder as I wanted to make sure I did not break the glass. Unscrewed and popped off the old pane and snapped the new one in place and put the screws back in. On a side note your site was very easy to use and easy to find the parts I needed quickly.
glass tray and support ring just went in and the grille just screwed in, and the microwave was like new
I went online and found the manual for this appliance and used the instructions, which were very helpful. The filters just pop out and the new ones fit right in. No tools were needed. For the vent grill, it was necessary to move the metal tabs back and forth a few times manually before they were properly placed in order to take the two screws, which hold the grill in place. I then loosely tightened the screws (so as not to crack the plastic grill)with a Phillips Head screwdriver. When my husband got up from his nap he was pleased to see the job completed without his help.:)
I got my 5 foot step-ladder and Phillips screw driver and removed two screws that were already there. I discarded the two metal clips because new metal clips are already inserted in the vent grill. I lined-up the vent grill on the microwave and screwed in the two screws. It's a perfect fit.I'm a 62 year old woman, and if I can do it - anyone can. The vent grill arrived two days after I ordered it.
I removed the plastic exterior of the door. The plastic exterior has to be pried off. The handle is fastened to the new exterior plastic face, and this is snapped on.
First I removed the two screws from the previous grille. When the part came-no screws were included. Second, the plastic hole that was pre-drilled was not open enough so I had to make it open so the screws would fit. Your part fit just great and we are defintely satisfied. I have had to replace this vent grille 2 times-don't think I will have to do this again. Thank you
I just screwed the part in place. This is the third grill I've had to replace.
Very simple, just removed the screws and plates from the top of the microwave and reused the screws to secure the new piece.
All you have to do is unscrew the clamps, remove the broken plastic pieces of tabs, fit the new grille into the slots on the bottom and put the two screws through the clamps at the top.
Removed two screws to that held the old bracket. Installed new part and replaced the screws. Very simple. About 10 minutes. The part cost about $38.00. A repairman charged my neighbor 100 + dollars for the part and plus installation for the exact same thing. I highly recommend Partselect.
Took out 2 phillips screws on top, pulled the old grill out, hooked the tabs on the bottom of the replacement into place, positioned the top of the replacement, and replaced the 2 screws. 5 minutes. NOTE: Save the screws, new ones don't come with the replacement grill.
Snapped and screwed new part in minutes
removed old vent and replaced by snapping in and two screws inserted into right and left top connections.
Easy to do. Remove the old screws where the tabs had been broken off. Install new vent and replace screws. MAKE SURE THE TABS ON THE BOTTOM ARE IN THE SLOTS.
