Take out the screws, broken pieces of clip, then put in the new vent grill, replace the screws. Done!
This was a piece of cake! Less than 48 hours to get the part and 3 minutes to find and return the screwdriver and 3 to make the repair! I removed two screws, the old grill and then set the new grill in place and rescrewed the screws.
First remove two screws on top of microwave. Pull off old vent grill. Finally line up new vent grill (bottom edge first) then snap into place. Replace two screws on top of microwave.
Unscrewed the remaining (2) screws that held the vent in place, placed the new grill in the tab loctators, and screwed it into place. Done...in less than 10 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to find my wife to show her what a nice job I did.
I removed the 2 screws holding the broken vent grill, placed the new one in place and put the 2 screws back in place. Took less than 5 minutes from opening package to replacing the grill.
First, the screws were removed that held the vent grill to take off grill. The new vent grill was then replaced in a very short time. No problems at all.
