Needed to replace my refrigerator water filter with a new one.

I took out the old one-no tools needed-and put in the new one. Just half a twist and pukk down, then twist in new one following arrows!
I have never had to turn off the water to do this. I just put a towel under the old one when I take it out. No mess and really simple!

Filter too old.

This filter is located inside the refrigerator in the upper left corner. I turned off the water supply at the wall, unscrewed the old filter, placed the new one in, and turned the water back on. It took less than five minutes.

Thermostat failed & all items in refrigerator froze

Filter full of water was frozen. I moved the refrigerator out, unplugged it & allowed all items to thaw. Water shot out of filter where it was broken. I ordered new filter & called a repairman to replace the thermostat. Once new thermostat installed, I placed the new filter in the refrigerator. All is working fine now.

6-month replacement of ice & water filter

Hand loosened old filter and threaded in new one. Didn't even have to shut off the water. The new filter, which was delivered promptly, fit perfectly and didn't require any tools. I wish that all jobs were this easy!

The ice maker wouldn't turn off

I loosened two screws and removed a third. I lifted the icemaker off the 2 screws and unplugged the power. I plugged then new one in, hung it back on the 2 screws and replaced the 3rd. I tightened them all down and I was done. It was so easy I don't know why I waited so long to do it!
