extremely easy to replace the burner. I just pulled out the old burner and replaced with new one. The whole process took less than ten minutes.

Clip was broken, plug in connector end bad on burner
lifted up burner and pulled it free from its connection, then removed drip pan. used my cordless drill to drill out broken stabilizer clip. cleaned up chips from the drill process before installing new clip. installed clip with enclosed screw and nut. I then installed the new burner by lining it up with the connection under the cook top pushed it place and lowered it into the stabilizer clip. Then I turned the burner on to try it out, but I waited for about one hour before turning on the burner because it was cold from being outside.

Surface burner shorted out
After finding the correct Y-frame, inches and watts in a surface burner, it was easy to just slide in the slots. Tested, and it was perfect. Now it makes all of the other burners look bad. Thanks. Your site was the only one, that I was sure I had the correct part.

Intermittant operation of surface burner
I first tripped the power circuit breaker. Then I unplugged and removed the old element. Removing one screw allowed me to remove and replace the mounting clip. This did result in breaking off a small piece of plastic-like material from the electrical housing to which the clip was attached but did not hinder the replacement of the new clip. I inserted the new burner element. The surface burner is now working fine.

Burner element was not working right
Since it was a plug-in burner, only needed to pull it out and put the other one in.
Another thing I would like to say is that I was very well pleased with the service from partselect.com. I was unable to find the burners in my area. Was very helpful in selecting the part and was very efficient in sending it.

The problem was that the 2 big burners were not working.
I ordered the 2 burners that were not working. When I got the burners, I discovered that one of the burners was still working and the wiring under that on had burned out. So I ordered the little box kit and repaired it. I only needed to strip wires and twist together and replace the small box. Now all are working and I am cooking with all four burners again. All for about $50.

Burners didn't work
Shut off power to the stove. I removed the screw that held the block in place. Then I lifted the top of the rage to get to the wires. I cut the wires from the old block and stripped back the insulation. Next I put the heat shrinking sleeve on. I attached the new block with the wire nuts, pulled the sleeve down and used a hair dryer to shrink them. Then you just hook it back on screw it in and your done.

Burners not heating
I removed old parts and cut feed wires. Applied new wire leads, secured with supplied wire nuts, positioned shrink wrap insulators to formed wire connections and shrank with hair drier. Inserted wire lead connectors into the phenolic housings and attached housings to brackets. Closed top and installed new burners. No fuss no muss. All parts fit and stove is ready for another 20 years.
