removed ice maker cover, unscrewed one screw ,removed gear and replaced with new. What I like is that I order part at 3pm and got it the next day at 10am the next day. I've order parts before so I dont waste time looking for parts all over. Thanks

Popped the cover off, found the gear was broken. Ordered new gear. Removed screw, from shaft, removed broken gear, attached new gear and replaced screw. Replaced cover. Unit immediately began to function.

Ice maker not working

Took front cover off and found that plastic gear was broken. Easy fix to replace the gear so the ice tray would rotate and drop the ice. Also, figured since I was paying for shipping, I might as well replace some of the end caps on the door that were broken/flimsy. Very easy effort on both
