Our glass cooktop has several cracks, but it continues to work. We would like to replace the glass top and were wondering if this replacement part # ps375580 is just the glass top or is it the entire cooktop? Are installation instructions included?

Hi Terri, Thank you for the question. The Glass Cooktop is just the glass, not the elements or electronics under the glass. We can not guarantee instructions with the parts since they are pre packed by the manufacture.Here are some steps just in case.To replace the glass top you will need to unplug the stove. Next set up towels to lay the glass on once removed on the counter beside the stove. Then use a 1/4" nut driver to unscrew the side screws that hold the top down. Remove the knobs and rubber grommets that surround the shaft holes for the switches. The burners will stay inside the unit and will not lift up with the glass. As you are lifting the top off, carefully note where the electrical connections go, taking pictures as you go will be a big help.On the back of the new top is the top of the control panel for the control switches. You will need to use a pair of needle nose pliers to depress the circuit board stand off clips on all 4- corners that hold the board together. You will need these boards to insert on the new top assy. Be extra careful of any electrical connector and take note of them.Then Its just a matter of swapping out parts and reassemble in reverse. Hope this helps!

Our glass top has a crack and we would like to replace it. Due to the location, replacing the glass top with 4455552 seems like the ideal and cheapest solution. We have four burner locations and touch controls. Will ordering this part give me everything I need to replace the glass top? Or are there other parts I will need to purchase (ie gasket or spacer) to make this replacement?

Thank you for the question, As long as there are no other damaged parts and it is just the glass that is cracked you can reuse all the other parts and you will just need to order and replace this part PS375580.
