Im having issues with the washer getting out of balance I hav checked the shock absorbers and replaced one but still having the same prob. as the drum gets out of balance and bangs against the sides. wht shall I replace or do next ?

My LG washer is model WM2240CS. Can't locate that model from your inventory but assume that the WM2240CM would be the same. Mine started a very bad rubber burned smell and from the symptoms indicate a possible failure of the "Spider". Any way someone could confirm the part number to order?

A common reason for washers smelling like burning rubber is that the drain pump PartSelect Number PS3579318 is overheating or drum touching the door gasket on the high spin.
