Door closing cam was broken
the process was pretty straight forward though the part came without instructions. We were able to replace the part improperly with ease. however, we were not able to get the pieces aligned properly for a long time. We ended up taking the door off many times to try to realign the pieces. After many hours I finally unscrewed the bottom cam while the door was in place. The piece popped into place and all was fixed. Had the part come with directions telling us to do this we would have replaced the cam within 15 minutes!

Refrigerator door fell off
I watched the how-to video on your website first and it made the job so much easier. Just remove the upper hinge, lift the door off, and replace the cam bushings on the bottom hinge. Put it back together in reverse order and your done! Thanks for having such an informative website! It saved me from buying a new appliance.

Refrigerator door would not stay closed
Just as shown on a you tube video showing the steps involved, except I did not need to drill and tap the hole in the door. Cam repair kit contained all the correct parts.Freezer door is still working fine so I did not need to repair that door.

Refrigerator door did not seal and was out of alignment
I was quoted $212.00 by a service co. to make this repair. When I investigated online @ Part Select, they had all of the parts shown on schematics of each section of the refrigerator/freezer (side by side)with part numbers shown. It was easy to find the necessary parts. The cam kit came as a package for both doors and cost $12.00 plus shipping. Installation instructions were included. It took me an kour to make the repair. The hardest part was removing all the condiments from the shelves and remembering from which shelf they had to be returned. Net savings $200.00

Very easy
Like most have stated this is a simple job. Nut-driver and six screws (on mine). Less than ten minutes. Like someone else said the hardest part was unloading the door.

Hinges were making a popping sound and did not close properly
I followed the video instructions available on the net. Hardest part of the job was getting up off the floor after I disconnected the water line. I'm 90 years old
