Easy to repair once I found the right part
LG dishwasher kept stopping after a few minutes with a PF error. I tried replacing the power wire with a proper insulated metal cable and put in a junction box. Then replaced the 15 amp breaker on the main breaker box. Replaced the noise filter since that was a common problem. But the problem was finally fixed when I replaced the main PCB board.
Removed all the screws on the right side of the dishwasher door after putting box underneath it to prevent it from falling to the floor. With the right side hanging down a bit there was enough gap to allow me to disconnect all the connections and unscrew the old board. Once I replaced it with the new board and put the door screws back on it ran through a whole cycle like normal.

My dishwasher keeps giving a " pf " error code . There hasn't been a power failure and I've double checked the electrical connection which is correct. I've been told when the this code continues it's a control board malfunction . Is this correct and should I replace it?
For model number LDF6920ST
Hello Mishelle, Thank you for the question. If the wiring is good and everything is connected securely, it indicates a defective PCB Board. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
