Dryer ran but no heat
I removed the dryer rear upper cover to expose the start and cycle selection knob. My wiring diagram was in there. I removed the wiring on the rear of the cycle selection knob (timer assembly) locations were marked on the device. I ohmed the switch contacts for the heat circuit and had an open circuit through out the full rotation of the knob. I removed the 2 screws on the back of the timer assembly and the burnt contacts fell out. I removed the knob and 2 mounting screws and the device was out to retrieve my part numbers.
