Dryer times stopped working
First I removed the 2 screws that hold the control pannel in place. I then removed the 6 or so screws that hold the back panel to the control panel. This gave me access to the 2 screws that hold the timer into place. I removed the screws and took out the control. I then removed the wires connected to the timer one by one and connected them directly o the new timer. There are about 9 wires. Once all the wires were attached I reconnected the timer to the control panel. I re-attached the back panel and then reseated the control panel and attached it.
All in all a very easy fix. As long as you reconnect the wires the same as the broken unit you should be fine.
