How do you know the proper orientation when plugging this back on.

Hi Barry, thank you for reaching out. The compatible compressor start device with your model is part number PS3418250. The pointed side of the start device will be opposite the compressor, where the capacitor sits in the start device. While plugging the compressor start device, you need to slide it on the capacitor and make sure the terminals plug into the slots. Connect the wire plug and push the compressor device onto the compressor terminals. We hope this helps!
