- Water Inlet Valve with Wire Harness
Level of DifficultyReally easy
Time to do repair:15 - 30 mins
ToolsPliers, Screw drivers, Socket set

Original part had a split and was leaking
The repair went very easily. Maytag/Whirlpool really makes these types of repairs simple, just need basic tools. If you leave the wiring harness on the old inlet valve and just remove the connectors from the control unit, you can reference it when plugging in the new harness after the new inlet valve is installed. Two screws and three hose clamps later (not counting the screws on the back of the washer) and the old inlet was out, the new one in.
