Agitator was slipping, not agitating
The fabric softener dispenser pulled right off, then I tugged out the plastic cam cover (which was obviously not as waterproof as intended). The bolt was very rusty. I had to use the socket on the end of the screwdrive handle attachment for lack of a full one foot long 1/4 inch drive extender. Then i had to turn that with an adjustable wrench for leverage. It slipped a couple times but then came off. To disassemble the two halves of the agitator i had to pry on the rather squished tabs holding them together and yank quite hard until it popped off. Then it came apart easily, the cam went back in easily, especially with the provided instructions, and then it all popped back together after a well needed cleaning. The new bolt went right in the cover back on. After a empty load of water to rinse away any remnants it works like a charm.

i watched the video on replacing the agitator and it was very easy to get the job done. Didn't have to search for the right tool, everything was explained in full. Made the job easy. Washer is running nicely.

Upper agitator was weak and inefficient circulating the clothes.
Your video told me all the tools required and what steps I needed to do. Directions were fool proof, except the required Agitator Grease (your part # PS347804) described in the video is not part of the agitator rebuild kit. Bad planning. Maybe a waterproof grease from the hardware store would work...anyway I took the time to reorder the grease before starting repair. The repair kit did include a new rubber washer for the agitator bolt (I had ordered a whole new bolt). Caution: it would be easy to over tighten the agitator bolt. Make mental note of taughtness, during dissemble. Aside from that I was totally finished with the repair in 30 minutes. And the best was: what a difference in agitator perforance! A twenty-plus year old machine like new again.

Stripped agitator dogs
Replaced them with the agitator cam kit. It was easy. Hard to get the upper agitator half off of the lower but that was what the husband is for LOL. With his muscle and your "how to videos", it was a snap. If something else breaks this is the first place Im going to to see if I can repair it. This repair cost a whopping $24 and I actually could have gotten away a lot cheaper but bought an extra washer and bolt which I probably didnt need but replaced anyway. I thought we were going to have to get a new washing machine. No way. Machine is working as good as ever. Thank you, thank you XXXOOO

The bottom of the agitator would not spin with the bottom.
I took the agitator apart and noticed there were little cogs were not contacting the grooves in the compartment. I could spin it by hand in both directions. So I went online to Partselect to see if there were parts available. I didn't have the madel number but the parts list that was at the website made itr easy to locate and purchase. The part arrived 2 days later and the washer was washing clothes within a half hour.

Upper half of agitator did not rotate.
There was a video on the web providing instruction. The longest part of this repair was cleaning the old agitator of soap and fabric softener scum. Once that part complete, installation went smoothly. Didn't realize that the thrust spacer and o-ring for the internal cap came with the kit as it wasn't listed on the kit part list, so I purchased those separately. Not a big deal as it was only a couple of dollars and not enough to worry about. Part Select does an excellent job in making sure you have the right parts and break out drawings to show exactly what's needed to complete the repair. This is the third or fourth experience with them and the accuracy and quick response more than met my needs.

Top agitator wasn't working
Pulled fabric softner top off, undid the 7/16 nut And pulled cam assembly out. Only problem is my fat hands kept getting stuck in parts. Other than that my mother could have done it in 15 minutes. Very simple repair, parts fit perfectly. Ido have one suggestion that the kit includes a wee dab of lube in the kit, vaseline should work.

The top portion of the agitator stopped working
First I watched the online video to be sure of the parts I would need and for any tips that might make the repair easier.(The video suggested replacing the bolt, and it looked to me to be a good idea to replace the seal). I removed the softener dispenser (which exposed the inner cap). Then I removed the inner cap (which exposed the agitator bolt). I removed the bolt and lifted out the agitator. Popped the top portion off, replaced the directional cogs and then put it all back together. I am a fairly handy person but appliances are not my thing. The video gave me all the assurance I needed. Fifteen minutes and $15; sure beats calling a repairman!

Top of agitaor not moving
I removed the top cover of the auger and then pulled out the cap and seal. Removed the agitator mounting bolt and lifed the whole assembly out. If you are new at this just follow the instructions that are very well put togother to help if you have not done this before. For me I use to do HVAC and Appliance Repair work so that made this easy repairs for me.
