Rubber on nozzle cap was deteriorating

Replacing the nozzle cap took less than 30 seconds and required no tools. All you have to do is grasp the old one and unscrew it counter-clockwise. To install the new one just reverse the procedure. Replacing the front panel insert was easy to do once I got the old glue off of the dishwasher. Pulling off the old insert was easy enough, but I didn't want to install the new insert over the old glue. I used Goof-Off to remove the old glue and was able to get it all off, but it took over an hour to do it. If I had it to do over again, I would probably just leave the old glue. I don't think it will make much of a difference.

Black spots on dishes, water heater didn't work.

I looked at the cap, nozzle, which had the soft, black, rubber gasket on top. That gasket had begun to disintegrate over time and was leaving black specks on my dishes. I saw that it was simply a screw on installation and I did that myself in about 20 seconds. My husband and I removed the bottom plate at the front of the dishwasher and he quickly loosened the nuts on the heater element, we clipped the new one in, stabbed the connecters in place. He tightened the nuts, we replaced the cover, and my dishwasher works great! Thanks so much for having the parts on such an old appliance. We didn't want to replace the dishwasher, as it is a good one and worked great before. We want our appliances to work until we are ready to remodel our kitchen and upgrade all the appliances. My husband and I are very please with your availability of parts, the ease of your website, your diagrams are great, and the service was quick and reliable. We are extremely pleased. As a matter of fact when I finish writing this I'm gonna order another part for another appliance. Keep up the good work!

No water flow to upper wash tray

The cap.nozzle is critical in transferring water to the
upper wash tray in the "heavy wash" cycle only. If this part is defective, simply unscrew it by hand and install the new one by hand in seconds. This
part is inactive in the "light wash" cycle.

Look for deteriation in the black rubber area of the
cap. nozzle.

Ordering and tracking the shipment was a breeze,
everything was very easy to do !!!!

Dishwasher not cleaning properly

Unscrewed the nozzle cap, screwed in the new nozzle cap. What a snap! Sure beats a $75.00 service call and a parts bill that would be double what I paid!

Dirty dishes

Nozzle cap rubber housing was split and cracked. It simply unscrews. The replacement was a matter of screwing the new nozzle cap on. My wife was trusted with this installation. Believe me, this indicates how easy it was.
