Wouldn't agitate
I watched the how-to video on your website and did exactly what he showed and it worked. I am a 44 year old woman and am pleased that I was able to do this repair by myself. I did borrow the tools from my son. Thank you!

The agitator had started to become noisey and was not ingaging immediately with each turn.
After watching the video, I simply did as the tech did. The agitator was difficult to pull apart once the unit was removed. So for anyone else doing this, be sure to have your body clear of the cylinder as you free it from it's base. Also, place tape over the top to prevent the cam kit from flying out. Pay close attention as to which side of the replacement kit is "up" or "down." It actually was very easy. Thanks for the video.

Agitator was slipping, not agitating
The fabric softener dispenser pulled right off, then I tugged out the plastic cam cover (which was obviously not as waterproof as intended). The bolt was very rusty. I had to use the socket on the end of the screwdrive handle attachment for lack of a full one foot long 1/4 inch drive extender. Then i had to turn that with an adjustable wrench for leverage. It slipped a couple times but then came off. To disassemble the two halves of the agitator i had to pry on the rather squished tabs holding them together and yank quite hard until it popped off. Then it came apart easily, the cam went back in easily, especially with the provided instructions, and then it all popped back together after a well needed cleaning. The new bolt went right in the cover back on. After a empty load of water to rinse away any remnants it works like a charm.

Cam-agitator failure
I performed the repair after watching a YouTube video. Definately need a socket wrench ext. Before you try anything. It all went to plan until I tried to pull the agitator tube from the agitator base. The problem was caused by the manufacturer melting the base tabs with the agitator spindle. The melted plastic made it near impossible to pull the two pieces apart without using a knife and twenty minutes of my time prying the agitator from the tabs. Other than that it was an moderately easy fix with two tools and well worth it.

Stripped agitator dogs
Replaced them with the agitator cam kit. It was easy. Hard to get the upper agitator half off of the lower but that was what the husband is for LOL. With his muscle and your "how to videos", it was a snap. If something else breaks this is the first place Im going to to see if I can repair it. This repair cost a whopping $24 and I actually could have gotten away a lot cheaper but bought an extra washer and bolt which I probably didnt need but replaced anyway. I thought we were going to have to get a new washing machine. No way. Machine is working as good as ever. Thank you, thank you XXXOOO

No movement in upper agitator.
Replaced upper agitator cam kit assembly, very easy to replace and in about 15 minutes. I would also like to mention about PartSelect's web sit is very easy to find your parts and at good prices they even have video's if you need a little explanation on how to install your part.

Agitator cam dogs noisy
Tried the repair as described in the video and with hints provided, but the agitator would not seperate. Waited for replacement parts (arrived in two days, very good!) and saw that I could destroy old part getting it out and still make the repair. Once old part was free the rest of the repair was text book, or video book easy!

Replaced the cam kit
I watched the video, read about the 10-minute repairs and how easy it was, and thought "no problem"...It turned out that "popping the top part of the agitator" off the base was NOT easy. I finally admitted defeat and got my husband's help. He could not get them to "pop" apart either! I did not know that the 4 white plastic tabs through the cam were what was holding it together. Since I could see that ours were damaged and I wasn't getting anywhere anyway, I took a long screwdriver and poked, scraped, and pried on them out of sheer frustration. When some of the bits of plastic had broken off, I stood on the base and yanked up on that darn thing as hard as I could and yep - it "popped" off sending parts flying across the laundry room. The rest of the repair was done in under 5 minutes. Note to others: If the 4 plastic tabs that hold the cam to the base have been melted/crushed flat, don't expect the two parts of the agitator to come apart easily!

Agitator was not agitating. Dogs were obviously worn down..
A short internet search turned up the PartSelect youtube video. The repair was just as easy as the video made it look. It took longer to clean the fabric softener holder and the inside of the agitator than it did to do the actual repair. I am not afraid to try to fix something but still a novice at washer repair. Thank you for the video!
