Replace old/damaged plug-in module

I unplugged the old module and tried to plug in the new one that I ordered from you. However it would not fit in the slot. The old module had flat head screws , two on each side, and the new one had round head screws. So I took the old ones out and put them in the new unit.

The big difference is that the burner knobs on the two burners on this unit are backward. So when I turn on the front buner, the back burner gets hot. Vice Versa.

Will keep this unit, but think it will be difficult to get used to this switch. And if we sell the house, it will be have to be explained.
