The ice maker was dripping into the bin and turning all the cubes into a solid block
Followed directions enclosed with new ice maker. 1. Unplugged refrigerator. Removed three screws holding ice maker with a 1/4" nut driver while supporting ice maker with free hand 2.After removing ice maker from sidewall, unplugged wire pigtail and removed entire ice maker unit 3. Installed new pigtail, and bail wire from old ice maker, onto new ice maker 4. Holding ice maker with one hand, inserted new pigtail into plug, aligned water fill tube and held unit in position to reinstall 3 screws with 1/4" nut driver 5. Set wire bail in down position, plugged refrigerator power cord back in. About an hour later had new ice cubes. This was a much easier job than I had anticipated. Thank you PartSelect! I am a happy camper once again. This refrigerator is in my motorhome.

The door shelf retainer bar ends snapped and broke causing the contents of the shelves to fall ended up taping them with plumbers tape
I myself unwrapped the plumbers tape I had holding the shelf and retainer bar ends together until I received the replacement part. I snapped the retainer bar into the door and yahoo, all fit and was snug and I now have two replaced working shelves. It was great! Thank you for ALL that your site did!!

Door clips on back of end caps broken allowing shelf to move and items falling from shelf
removed owner applied "tape" and broken end caps from shelf.replAced end caps and snapped back into door slots. very simple operation but the highlight was relative ease in finding parts at partselect. i was afraid given the age of refridgerator i would not be able to find replacement parts.once i found their website and described part it popped up in-stock and in several different colors. THANKS PARTSELECT!!

My refrigerator is over 10 years old. Over time a few of the door shelf end caps had broke leaving it hard to store things in the door. Recently one of the shelf support studs broke. We did an on line search and found part select and had replacement parts in just a few days.
My wife had the shelf end caps and trim replaced before I got home. The shelf support stud was very easy to install. A pair of pliers and a simple turn and the broke piece was out and the new one was in.

End cap broken
Removed the old ones , this was easy because the clip part of the end cap was broken off. I simply inserted the plastic clip part if the new end cap into the slot in the door and presto it was done. Then I replaced the other end cap the same way

Replace shelves
The repair went very smooth, and fast. First I made sure I looked at markings for correct side. I snapped bottom in first and top snapped right in.

Minor annoyances I lived with for far too long
Haven't used the bottom door shelf of my refrigerator for years, lived with a lint filter on my hand-me-down dryer that was taped with electrical tape since the day I inherited it, and loaded and unloaded my dishwasher with irritation because of a broken clip on the bottom rack. Ordered the parts from PartSelect and got them in just 2 days. Fixed all three problems in about 15 minutes total. It's like getting new appliances...why didn't I do this sooner?

Bottem door shelf broke do to to much product being stored in the confined area.
Removed the broken trim by hand. Order and fitted the new product. Installed the same way the old one came out. Level of diffficulty, 5 being the hardest, I rate this a ONE.

I bought a used refrigerator that was missing parts
It was actually very easy since the parts were already missing. It required no tools just some elbow grease. The end caps snap on to the retainer bar very easily. Once they were put together it was just a matter of snapping them in to place on the refrigerator door. You do need to line them up and I found it easier to snap them in on the bottom first and then snap in on the top next. Very simple and for the money I spent on parts I have a used (garage) refrigerator in good working condition for right around $200.00. I would definitely order from PartSelect again.
