Water dispenser wasn't working
called in a repair company and they wanted to charge me $350.00 to repair it so I went on line and found some people had replaced the control bracket, so thought what can I loose? Ordered the part and replaced it within about 30 mins. Now it works perfectly!

Water dispenser not working
I searched the internet and found "partselect.com" put in my model number and they said the part that usually fails is the bracket that holds the micro switch, I proceeded to take the cover off (hardest part) it needed alot of downward pressure and snaps off. Sure enough the micro switch was loose, I ordered the part for $ 18 with shipping included, it arrived in 2 days and took about 10 minutes or less to transfer all the stuff from the old bracket to the new bracket. THANKS ! !

Ice working; no water
follow the above directions. The front panel is very tight. You have to pull it use a fair amount of force to get it off. Same with pulling the wires apart. Part number 8 had fallen off. It is shorter than the diagram shows.

Broken water dispenser.
I originally thought something was wrong with the circuit board. After taking a closer look I realized the plastic bracket holding the control in place had snapped off. A few screws and about 10 minutes is all it took to replace.

Ice would not dispense
Removed a couple of screws that hold the cover to the door. Took the cover off and unclipped a few wire harnesses holding the cover in place. Removed two more screws and took the control bracket out. Took everything off of the old control bracket and put it on the new control bracket. Then reassembled.

Broken housing bracekets that held water cut off switch
We had an appliance repairman quote of $194.00 to replace the part in the next 5-7 days. However, it seemed exhorbitant so I paid him the $24.95 for the service call. The part and shipping was $18 and some change and arrived the nest afternoon FedEx. So for about 15 minutes of work I saved $150. The repair is every simple, just pop off the face plate and remove/replace switches, wiring harnesses, etc.

Broken bracket for water dispenser
I popped the front cover off of the LH door by lightly prying with a flathead screwdriver. The bracket was under the cover and it came out by popping the retaining tabs to the side. I removed the wires and switches from the old bracket and moved them to the new bracket and reinstalled the new bracket by pushing into place. I then snapped the cover back into place. The bin for the door was as easy and just sliding into place.
