External ice guide broke a tooth and fell off
We waited two years to do this because we didn't want to hassle with a repair man to come out and charge us arm+leg for something so simple. Finally we searched and found the part on line. It came two days FASTER than promised. Kudos to Part Select. Snapping it on was a breeze, although you do have to apply more pressure than feels comfortable with plastic clips. We can know get ice out of the external door system again.

Replacing still working but old and stained levers
The overflow grille was no problem. It just slides out. To get to the levers, you need to remove the front cover trim. Pay attention to where everything is before you remove parts and how the wiring is set up (over or under parts). There are two slots below the trim, use your blade screw driver and pop the trim. You'll notice that the 4 buttons for ice (crush - cube) and the light (off-on) are on that panel. I don't recall well, but I believe two screws (one at each side) hold that part in place. Once loose, I flipped it up, disconnected the white multi- wire quick connector and used duck tape to tape the panel to the door and keep it out of the way. Another screw keeps the levers in their place, with a metal element. Remove it and the levers will come out. The ice guide just snaps out from two sides and a middle plastic hook of the ice dispenser lever. Replace everything in reverse order. That's about what I remember. Hope it helps.

Ice guide broke during cleaning
Part would not fit straight in. Used universal joint on end of extension to reach screw rather that disassemble front. Managed to slip the paddel just far enough to one side and angled to snap ice guid on and then slipped paddel back into place. Used a dab of candle stickum on the screw head to heep it in the socket and then inserted in door. $7 part, 15min and saved $$$$$$ over a service call;)

Plastic ice cube guide installed
Mine is a simple tale of the missing ice cube dispensor guide. When we moved, the guide was missing so when I built our new home with a kitchen in the basement I wanted to hook up the ice dispensor but when I did, the ice cubes always fell off to one side. I decided to order the misssing part on-line. I ordered it paid for it and then received it the next day-wonderful. Within ten minutes, I was ready to go. Thanks for great service. Ice was being made, but wouldn't drop
My icemaker wouldn’t pop out the ice. I bought a used fridge from 2nd Time Around in Russellville AR which was the most horrible customer service experience of my life. They were supposed to have a 60 day warranty but didn’t follow through. After months of begging them, and knowing what part I needed, I just ordered it myself. It was so easy and quick and fixed my issue my husband said we should have done that months ago and avoided the hassle. It was worth the money to have the peace of mind. Now everything is perfect! All we had to do was remove the icemaker, take off the side with a screwdriver, replace the part and slide it back in. We had ice in hours! Shipping was quick (a couple days) the part was 30 dollars cheaper than other places I checked. We love it!

Ice bin drum blades broke into pieces wouldn't despense ice.
After removing a few screws to get to the drum my husband had it back to working like a charm. This part seems to be better made than the original part in the refrigerator.

Water and ice dispenser discolored
I replaced these parts mainly for aesthetic reasons and to prepare our home for a rental. I was very impressed with PartSelect's customer service and delivery. The part literally arrived the next day. Will definitely do business with them again.

The ice guide for our fridge was broken. No heat for the dryer.
The ice guide snapped right in 2 minute job. With the dryer I had to remove the back of the dryer which was about 8 screws another 5 screws for the One time use thermal fuse, the thermal cut-off kit and the high limit thermostat. I used a nut driver and it took about 20 minutes. I am not sure which part needed to be replaced but seeing that I had bought all 3, I replaced all three. The dryer works fine now.

Both parts where broken
The ice guide slipped into place and latched into the arm with no problems. The nozzle went in so easy once I figured out that it was run through a tube in the door, I thought at first I was going to have to take the door apart. The biggest surprise was the how quickly I got the parts, I recieved in 1.5 days. Thats amazing. Thank You.

Ice guide broke off; bin cracked
We saved hundreds in not calling the service. The ice guide popped right in. As one other person mentioned, took a little force, but no problem. And bin slid in easily. DIY is the way to go these days.
Thanks, PartSelect.com
