The original ice guide's plastic tabs failed
The repair was super easy. The part was shipped as promised. In fact, it arrived a day earlier than expected. I simply unpacked the guide and positioned it under the Ice Dispenser Door and applied gentle pressure. It snapped into place and works like new.

The ice guide clips had snapped off
I removed the original part using electrical pliers. This necessitated further damaging the guide but this did not matter as it would be replaced.
It took 5 minutes to replace.
Having the web page graphics made it easy to select the correct item and the part arrived in 3 days after order.

I was getting plastic in with ice.
Remove ice bin, remove screws that hold the cover, then remove circlip at the end of the shaft.Remember to stack grinder blades and spacers in the order they come off ,then remove plastic nut that holds the auger . Remove broken auger and install new one then reinstall grinder blades as you removed them . Insert shaft back into bin and replace cover. Place ice bin back in Frig. and your done. The ice guide just snaps in . Jr.

Ice guide broken, filter needs changing
This was a very easy repair. The ice guide has 3 pegs that just clicked into the opening to position it. The ice and water filter was easy as well. I turned the water off because I was not sure if the water would leak when I removed it.
One thing is to make sure you run the water for a while after installation to recharge the water line and to get all air out of the line, and to run the filter.
