This control knob is used on various models of air conditioners to control the temperature and settings of the appliance. This knob is made of black plastic and is sold individually, meaning you may want to consider ordering multiple. If your previous knobs break or no longer work properly, simply pull the previous knob(s) off and slide this knob to exactly where the previous knob was. This part is a genuine OEM replacement.

broken control knobs
I opened the package. I tool out the plastic bag containing the replacement knobs. (I ordered two). I lined up the knob that needed replacing and pushed it on. The replacement knobs are of a better quality than the original and shouldn't break like the old ones. After this repair I was exhausted and took a nap.
