I had to remove the food off the shelves, then i had to had to remove the shelves. I then took the refrigerator door off. I then removed the bins and removed the broken drawer rails. I then cleaned the area where the bins were. I then installed the new rails and put back the bins. I then reinstalled the refrigerator door and all the shelves. Last was putting all the food back in. Everything went very well.
removed two screws removed bad part installed new part.
I removed the two screws on each rail and replaced the broke rails with the new ones. I can't beleve I put it off for a year. It took less then 15 min. encluding the time it took to order the parts.
I removed the shelves & drawers, then unscrewed the side rails (2 screws in each one). After screwing in the new rails (I had saved the screws from the old parts -the new rails did not come with screws), I only had to place the drawer & shelf back in the fridge and the job was done. It took maybe 5 minutes to replace.I ordered the parts late morning on day one, day two the UPS man was at my door while I was eating breakfast! Less than 24 hrs. from order to delivery!
I removed the screws and replaced the rails one at a time.
Removed each drawer and removed two screws for each rail. Disposed of old rails. Installed new ones using the screws removed from old rails. Put drawers back in and VOILA! Crisper drawers that work! AMEN PARTSELECT!
I removed the broken parts by taking out the screws that held them in place. I then screwed the new parts back in. Everything fit perfectly and the parts I ordered arrived in one day.
I first removed the glass plate, then I doubled checked to make sure I had the proper part. Then I removed the screws using a phillips screwdriver (2). Removed new part from the plastic bag and installed the screws in the holes proved in the slide rail. I slightly tighten the screws, I then replaced the glass and then the drawer
remove the broken rails cleaned refridg and replaced rails required 4 screws easy my only question or comment would be why are the rails so cheaply made this is the second time that i replaced them and my refridgerator is only 5 years old
The Rails were cheap and shipped very quickly. Removed food items from the shelves and drawers, then the glass plate shelves - push forward and raise from the rear edge. Verified that the rail parts were identical. There were two screws holding each rail, remove the screws, remembering to note how the rails were oriented.Cleaned all surfaces normally covered by the rails and drawers etc. using common kitchen cleaner.Used the original screws and a philips #2 to secure the new rails, making sure not to over-tighten the screws. This is an easy repair to do. Much easier than say replacing the oil filter on your car, or cleaning the filter on range hood fan.
Took the food items off the glass shelf that fits in the side rail. Unscrewed the broken piece discarded it and screwed in the new piece. Simple as that.
i just removed the philip screws on the old ones and instaled the new rails.the water valve was easy with the water lines had a quick disconect on them, then used pliers to remove the rest of it.the repairs are very easy.
