Basically just remove and screws and put new rail in place and screw in. The part arrived much quicker than I anticipated. Here the next day. Wonderful service.
Order rails that where quickly delivered removed old rail slides and about 30 minutes install new set
Removed the old dairy door and popped in the new door. Added the new rail, screwed it in and rolled the crisper in place. Real easy job. No instructions needed.
repair took less than a minute just two screws
easy as pie - my husband was very impressed that I found the part on the internet, ordered it, and put it in in no time at all.
Used a screwdriver. How-to video emphasized not to overtighten.
This was super easy to repair. It was really easy to look up the correct part on line with the diagrams provided. We got it right the first time and with in 7 days from the time it was broken it was fixed. It only took 5 minutes to repair.
remove two screws, remove broken part and install new slide rail with these same screws.
Simply removed two (2) screws to remove the old slide and replaced with the new one. Took 5 minutes!!
Removed the draw and glass plates. Unscrewed the existing rail and screwed in the new rail. Unless i had held the side that was broken i couldn't tell apart the new from the old. The new did seem to be a little dirty. After i cleaned it, it was a matter of screwing on and off the exisitng rail. Very simple.
The replacement was easy except for the difficulty in keeping the screws aligned in the recessed hole in the rail to the refridge rail (I didn't have a magnetized screw driver). By placing some scotch tape on the outside of the rail over each screw hole, and then "pusing" the screws through the scotch tape, the screws stayed put while I aligned the rails and screwed them into the fridge.
This repair turned out to be one of easiest repairs that I have performed on any anything. One phillips head screw driver, 2(two) screws later and the slide was replaced. Of course, this was after taking the drawer out of the refrigerator, which took about 30 seconds. The parts illustration to order the part was super easy to pick the correct part.
The left and right rails came in quickly by UPS and after opening the box, I compared to old parts and found they were an exact match.I then proceded to remove the two defective rails. It was quite simple. There were 3 phillister screws holding on each rail. I simply removed the old rail one at a time and replaced with the new one in reverse order of removal. After replacing both rails, I replaced drawers and now no more drawer dropping. I only which I had discovered Parts Select.com 2 years ago. It was simple to order, amazingly could still get parts, and clear diagrams and easy to identify part numbers. I will refer to this company in future for all of my parts needs if available. Thanks,Charles from Hattiesburg Mississippi.
Removed the drawer from the fridge. Removed the 2 screws holding the cracked slide rail and removed the slide rail. Installed the new slide rail with the 2 existing screws. Re-installed the drawer. Super Simple.
