The drawer slide rail for the right side is used for refrigerators. The drawer slide rail attaches horizontally to the refrigerator wall and supports the drawer so it can easily slide in and out. If the drawer slide track is broken, not sliding, or is not dispensing water, then changing the right side drawer can be the solution to the following problems. Make sure to unplug the refrigerator from the power source and make sure to wear gloves to protect your hands when installing. Refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer for further guidance and instruction.
This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
When looking inside the fridge, this white drawer slide rail is located on the left side of the refrigerator. Rail ONLY.
1st I unscrewed the side rails after I removed the drawer. I saved the screws and both rails until I received the new ones. There were 2 screws in each side. 2nd I looked online at the parts select web page. The exploded diagrams were extreemly helpful. Like most people my appliance book does not have this feature. I ordered the 2 rails for the drawer on Sunday morning and the parts were here by Wednesday afternoon..very good service in my opinion. I then proceeded to replace the two side rails with the screws that I saved from dismantling them. I then put the drawer back into the refrigerator and it worked perfectly. This repair was easy and it saved me a $60.00+ dollar service call and a longer wait period to get the repair done! I will continue to use part select.com for all my appliance repair work. Thanks

Removed the glass top, and veg drawer. Unscrewed 2 screws holding the broken rail on. Replaced with new rail using old screws. Put the drawer and glass top back on. Done. The Handle for the Veg drawer just snapped into place. Done.
First I removed the two screws that held the slide in place. I then pulled the slide out and lined up new slide and reinstalled the screws.
I removed the drawer and broken piece, then I screwed in the two screws to put the new piece in place. I then had trouble putting the shelf back in place due to the piece being a little bent. I loosened the front screw and was able to manuver the shelf in place with a little force. The new bracket works great.
I removed the two screws on each rail and replaced the broke rails with the new ones. I can't beleve I put it off for a year. It took less then 15 min. encluding the time it took to order the parts.
I removed the shelves & drawers, then unscrewed the side rails (2 screws in each one). After screwing in the new rails (I had saved the screws from the old parts -the new rails did not come with screws), I only had to place the drawer & shelf back in the fridge and the job was done. It took maybe 5 minutes to replace.I ordered the parts late morning on day one, day two the UPS man was at my door while I was eating breakfast! Less than 24 hrs. from order to delivery!
1) The large drawer is first removed from the guide that remained on the side wall.2) Removal of the light shield from the rear of the glass shelf to facilitate glass shelf removal by lifting the rear edge of the glass and remove it.3) Unscrew two phillips head screws holding the remaining pieces of the plastic guide to the interior side panel of the fridge.4) Examine the replacement guide and insure that the nylon guide and stop parts are clicked into place. If unsure, look at the guide on the other side to ensure that both are present and completely seated before installation of the replacement guide. (These usually fall out of the guide during shipping and should be in the bag with the guide!)5) Once the guide is outfitted with the nylon guides, secure the new guide with the two phillips screws and DO NOT over tighten, remember you are dealing with plastic guide and steel screws going into a steel cabinet.6) Re-install the glass shelf, followed by the light shield and finally the large drawer which should slide out smoothly to the stop and back closed without any drag.7) A successful installation usually includes giving the drawer and glass shelf a good cleaning that probably could be done to the entire fridge side of the unit.
The drawer slide broke and I just removed the 2 screws that were still in the side of the refrigerator. I then screwed the new drawer slide in the same holes and it was done!! Simple, simple....even for me, the housewife.... ; )
I removed the two screws from the old broken rail using a regular star screw driver and replaced the new rail you sent us. Took only 2 mints to do all.
I removed the screws and replaced the rails one at a time.
This was so easy! I got the part number off of the broken part, ordered online, and it was delivered the next day!!! So fast! Then I just unscrewed the broken part and reused the existing screws to install the new one. It took about 5 min. Thanks for making everything so fast and easy!
I removed food from shelf over crisper drawer, then removed shelf and crisper drawer, removed two phillips head screws in right side rail and replaced rail.Easy as 1-2-3
First take all your junk off the shelf (with the broken rail of course), take the glass shelf off. Remove screws (phillips). Throw away old rail. Replace new rail, tighten screws. Replace shelf, replace junk. You're done.
Removed each drawer and removed two screws for each rail. Disposed of old rails. Installed new ones using the screws removed from old rails. Put drawers back in and VOILA! Crisper drawers that work! AMEN PARTSELECT!
Simply replaced the 4 screws and slid the drawer back in place. Easy and saved a service call.
