The drawer slide rail for the right side is used for refrigerators. The drawer slide rail attaches horizontally to the refrigerator wall and supports the drawer so it can easily slide in and out. If the drawer slide track is broken, not sliding, or is not dispensing water, then changing the right side drawer can be the solution to the following problems. Make sure to unplug the refrigerator from the power source and make sure to wear gloves to protect your hands when installing. Refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer for further guidance and instruction.
This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
When looking inside the fridge, this white drawer slide rail is located on the left side of the refrigerator. Rail ONLY.
Total time to replace both slides was ten minutes. It took me longer to take the stuff off the shielf than it was to fix the slides!

So I looked at it, and saw the slide had actually broken. Immediately copied the Model Number and put THAT number into the Google Box. Up popped the Part Select site -- along with others. There was a perfectly understandable schematic (interactive.) I figured out what I needed, and ordered the parts. They arrived, and the fix was simple!!!No $85 service call No "We'll be there between 8 and 5"Simple.
I ordered the parts to repair my two drawers in the refridgerator. MY daughter climbed on them to reach the top shelf. While I was ordering the parts for the drawers, I thought I would find out if I could fix the ice and water dispenser. I looked up the model number and found the parts I thought would fix it...I read other customers repairs and figured it was the mother board. I ordered it on Thursday night, received it on Saturday and fixed it less than ten minutes. The video repairman was so helpful, I watched it a couple of times and felt confident to do the repair. My son was very proud of his mom...now we have ice, water and drawers that open and close......
Pretty much self explanatory.Removed drawer and anything on top of glass shelf.Remove two screws holding on slide.Replace with new slide.Repeat on other side.Replace shelf and drawer.
It was really easy. I removed my drawers out. (They were kidn of sitting on the base and the glass because the rail broke). All I had to do was unscrew the broken rail and screw in the new one. Good to go in 10 minutes!
Removed the broken rail by removing two screws. Put one screw through the hole in the new rail, matched it to the hole in the side of the fridge, and tightened it - not too tight! Then guided the second screw into place and did the same thing. Replaced the drawer. Job done.Identifying the part on the website was a breeze too, thanks to well-organized site, a picture of the part to match to my broken one, and even a video of a repairman making the repair. Couldn't have been easier, and probably saved me about $100.
Removed 2 screws on each slide, Screwed in new slide. Done! The hard part was picking the correct part #. Ordered the wrong parts. Parts Select representative helped me get the correct part # and assisted with the return. Thanks.
I removed the screws and the parts fit perfectly. It was an easy repair. The diagrams online helped a lot. I was very very impressed with how soon these parts arrived. It was one day after I ordered them. I would definitely use this service again.
Removed the two drawers. Unscrewed the side rails that cracked away from the screws.Replaced the new side rails in place screwed in the screws and waalaa all done....easy as pie. Oh by the way I am a woman with little experience of tools...Just have to say the pictures of the parts made it really easy to pick out the correct part. Thanks
The isnatalla tion was very simple, two screws, and that was it. The only problem was ttying to determine if it was the right side or the left side rail
First I removed the two screws that held the old slide to the refer side wall, (after unloading the shelf and taking out the Veg. draw). I then put the screws in the new slide spots and screwed them into the refer wall using a hand screwdriver (phillips) and put everything back in place. It was about as simple a repair of anything I have had in the past 75 years. I didn't even have to swear.
Took out the drawer. Took out the shelf. Unscrewed two screws. Took out broken piece. Screwed in new piece. Replaced shelf and drawer. Done!
I emptied all items from the above drawer shelf, removed the shelf and drawer, cleaned the area from previous spills, use a screw driver to remove the 2 screws holding the old slider in and replaced the slider. All parts fitted and it took around or less than 15 minutes.
Two (2) screws...broken slide rail off - new slide rail on. I spent more time taking items out of the refrigerator and putting them back in than on the repair itself. Very easy.
