A broken drawer rail, a broken door compartment and a leaking water line.
Repair done by a handyman on the leaking part. Used the diagrams and was able to identify the proper parts, using my training as a CPA. So that should tell you that the system works well and you can find most of the parts with an untrained eye and a bit of common sense.
Although I hope I don't have recurring need for this service, I laud the efforts of the creators to make it navigable even for us 2 left-handed accountants!

Bottom shelf of frig caved in
The plastic slide rail that held up the bottom shelf of my frig as well as the top drawer had cracked & eventually broke. Being a widow who lives alone, I knew I could call my son to fix my frig - but I thought, maybe I could do this myself. I found the Brand, Model # & info I needed right on the inside of my frig. I did an internet search for Refrigerator parts, another first for me, found this web-site, then a diagram of my frig, I selected a part & ordered it. When it came in, I had ordered the slide for the bottom drawer & I needed the slide for the top drawer. I called the # from the invoice & got the nicest lady who found the correct part #, ordered it, then proceeded to process the return of the incorrect part I had ordered. The correct part came 2 days later & my credit card was immediately credited after they received the part I sent back. I was so excited to complete the "repair" myself, then with great pride I got my screw driver and changed out 2 screws - "completing my first repair job, all by myself". I diagnosed the problem, ordered the part & completed the repair without help from my family. I was very glad to add this web site to my Favorites. A great big ThankYou to Parts Select !!! Ann Payne

One drawer rail broke so we decided to replace both (preventive maintenance!)
The replacement was easy except for the difficulty in keeping the screws aligned in the recessed hole in the rail to the refridge rail (I didn't have a magnetized screw driver). By placing some scotch tape on the outside of the rail over each screw hole, and then "pusing" the screws through the scotch tape, the screws stayed put while I aligned the rails and screwed them into the fridge.

Drawer had been falling off the rails for several years and finally decided to look for parts.
The left and right rails came in quickly by UPS and after opening the box, I compared to old parts and found they were an exact match.
I then proceded to remove the two defective rails. It was quite simple. There were 3 phillister screws holding on each rail. I simply removed the old rail one at a time and replaced with the new one in reverse order of removal.
After replacing both rails, I replaced drawers and now no more drawer dropping. I only which I had discovered Parts Select.com 2 years ago. It was simple to order, amazingly could still get parts, and clear diagrams and easy to identify part numbers. I will refer to this company in future for all of my parts needs if available.
Thanks, Charles from Hattiesburg Mississippi.

Old parts broken and or cracked so drawers didn't open easily and shelves were uneven
First I removed the drawers and shelves. Then I removed the left and right trim pans (1 screw ea). Next I removed the two screws (8 total) for each of the left and right drawer slide rails and rail assemblies. Then I spent way too much time cleaning the bottom half of my refrigerator, the shelves and drawers! After finishing the cleaning, I installed the lower left and ride slide rails (2 screws ea). Then I installed the upper left and right slide rails (2 screws ea). I then installed the left and right trim pans (1 screw ea). After that I set the bottom shelf and drawer in and then did the upper shelf and drawer.
The packaging was OEM, clearly marked too. The hardest part of the job was cleaning my refrigerator!

The plastic slide attached to the inside wall of the refrigerate that supports the bottom shelter and one of the lower drawers broke.
We went for months not knowing where to get the part we needed until my husband found your site on line. The first part we received was wrong, but with the help of your operators, we then received the correct part. It was only a matter of removing two screws, placing the slide and then putting the 2 screws back in. It was a snap.

Broken left side drawer rail
First I removed the glass shelf on top of the drawer. I then removed the drawer and unscrewed the old drawer rail. After this I cleaned everything, screwed in the new drawer rail, reinstalled glass and drawer and I was finished.

Original part broke right at the screw junction - drawer sagged
Piece of cake - just unscrew the screws and put the new piece on, replace the glass top and replace the drawer. No brainer. Don't ever pay someone to do it.

Drawer slide was broken
Remove the drawer and the shelf glass assembly. using a #2 phillips screwdriver remove the two screws that hold the drawer slide rail. Discard the old slide and place the new slide in position and install the two screws. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws. Place the drawer back on the slide and close it. Next place the front of the glass shelf under the lip on the front of the slide rail and set it in place. Job Complete!

Broken plastic parts
Cleaned the refrigerator as the old parts were removed. Installed new parts as the old parts were removed so as to easily identify the replacement parts. Very easy and wife was extremely happy after old plastic parts self destructed over a period of months and refrigerator was essentially unusable on the bottom two drawers.
