The crisper bin slides had broken
Removed the bins, and the broken rails. The rails for the upper bin is made for three screws in each rail, and they were installed with only two screws, ehe front and back screws were installed and the middle screw holes had never been drilled for screws. Install the new rails with the front and back screws, then "CAREFULLY" use an electric drill to drill the middle screw holes, and install the middle screws. These screws help relieve the pressure on the front screws when the drawer is pulled out.

SIMPLY USED SCREWDRIVER TO TAKE OFF BROKEN RAILS AND REPLACED WITH THEM NEW ONES WE RECEIVED.

The two bottom drawer rails where broken
The parts arrived in one day and I did not order them express. I pulled the two drawers out undid the four screws pulled the old pieces out held the new rails up put in the four screws put the drawers back in and I was done the wife said if it was that easy why did you not do this three years ago. It was the easiest repair I have ever done. Thank you for the fast service.

Both drawer slides were broken
this repair was very simple and very easy....I took out the drawers and removed 2 scrwes on each slide, and the broken ones came right off. I put the new ones on by puting the 2 screws back in place..done....VERY simple...Thanks,,,,

Slide rail broken
Remove the broken rail and replace. Use the same screw to attach the new one. The new rail does not come with any screw. So make sure to keep the old screws. When ordering, mcheck the diagram properly so that you won't get the wrong side rail.

Slide rails broken
Had to unscrew the slide rails from both sides of
refrigerator and insert the new slide rails. When the baskets were inserted and slid with ease I knew I had installed them properly

The side rails and one of the drawers were cracked.
Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. BUT, the parts I received were not exactly the same as the ones I was replacing, even tough I certainly used my fridge model number when ordering the parts.
As a result the assembly is awkward, one of the rails did not fit and had to be cut half an inch shorter or so (there was some cover on the back of the fridge which prevented the rail from installing).
The rear mounting holes for all four rails also needed to be drilled anew.
The old drawer does not quite match the new rail either.
Overall I am not impressed. But to the partselect credit - the fridge is fairly old, 12 years.

Broken slide rails - drawers kept falling out
Removed the two screws that held each rail in place, cleaned fridge well underneath them, put new rails on with the two screws each. Simple repair, perfect fit parts, beautiful results - looks like new.

Slide rails had broken.
The repair itself was easier than finding the parts. After looking on a number of websites, including GE's own website, I found the parts at PartSelect.com. The picture made it easy to ensure that these were the right parts. They came in the mail quickly, so I was very satisfied. Drawer slide rails worn out
The new slides were slightly different than the original slides. The slides fit, but the glide inserts on the slides interfered with the drawer. I had to remove the glide inserts, and modify them. Now the drawer slides properly.

The slide rails had broken over the years through normal wear and tear. The drawers would not track properly or at all.
It was a simple matter to just unscrew the remaining pieces of the old slides and then screw in the new parts. Because I had waited until several needed replacing, it was important to make sure I had the right part for the right side and the right drawer.

Broken cooler shelves in my refridgerator.
My Hotpoint fridge did not have working cooler shelves due to years of service. I was able to remove the slide drawer rails, install the new rails, and replace the drawers. It works great! PS: Clean the fridge first to make the job easier and to make a wonderful presentation when you show your hard work to your wife!!!
