This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This was really a simple repair. I just kind of pried the shelf retainer bar bottom slot that holds the old endcap on out a little and was able remove the end cap and replace it with the one from 'partselect.com' and reinstalled the end cap - this was a simple repair and I'm glad that they had the part. It was also simple to find on their site. P.S. This may or may not help; while the refrigerator is a 'Kenmore', I found through researching that it was actually made by G.E. and branded for Kenmore.

The brackets were surprisingly inexpensive, arrived in lightning time, and were so simple to install! A bonus is that the CORRECT parts arrived! I didn't have to send anything back. I just snapped them into the shelf and that was that!
Remove shelf, wash shelf components, remove bracket that snaps into place, replace with new bracket by snapping locked in place and you're done.
Simply remove the shelf, remove broken bracket easily, wash the parts, attach the new bracket and place the shelf back in place. No tools.
The refrigerator replacement parts all fit in just like new. The old shelves were duct taped in place till I got the new ones. Used WD-40 to remove the left over tape on the plastic, worked great. Removed glass shelf / front up first pull forward. Install center slide with gasket, replace shelf. Door shelf end cap slides up to remove, clips to front of shelf. Takes more time cleaning than making repairs.
Replace end cap to bottom shelf and then to door.
I just had to replace the cap. No tools required.
After removing the food items, I removed the shelves and separated the existing broken brackets from the still good parts. I then screwed together the old working parts and the new replacement parts, all within about 10 minutes. I then placed the shelves back in the fridge and restored the food. The most time was taken picking from the food because I was hungry, but the repair itself was simple.
I removed what was left of the broken endcap and slid the new one on the end of the shelf and back into the retaining slots. No tools, screws or adhesives were required. Works like new.
Order the ends both left and right and stuck the front from the old shelf onto the new left and right sides and stuck it back on the door. No problem. Thanks!!!!
Very simple snap out and snap in. Very simple
